Campaign Quote for 2/11/01

Terrial looks around for the innkeeper, finding only harried barmaids and furious armsmen.
Silence fills the room as his companion, Thaeus, crosses arms near his weapons. Half a dozen people stand up and stare at the inherent threat of Thaeus' stance. They slowly rise from their seats and begin to cross the room laughing at one another. Lightly bouncing short clubs and truncheons off their hands and weaving slightly, they appear to be extraordinarily drunk.
Terrial steps backwards, looking rather concerned. "Let's leave and not get into trouble," he suggests with out taking his eyes off of the roughians.
"Ah yes. Turen said not to get into trouble," Thaeus merrily replies.
Terrial frowns. "These people aren't looking for trouble-- they're waiting for it to walk into the room."
As the two step backwards out the door, a slurred voice from inside says, "That clothing looks like it would be worth a pretty pearl, lets kill these fish."
Quickly, Thaeus closes the door and continues moving backwards--Terrial right behind him.
Suddenly the door bursts from it's hinges as the toughs charge into the street...

Campaign Quote for 2/10/01

Farquanor's face hardens. "Let us say this… I don't ask about the private services of a cleric of Lathander, and you don't ask of mine. Agreed? We can get along much… friendlier that way," he says as his mouth forms a dark grin.

Campaign Quote for 2/9/01

Smiling softly, Turen turns and says, "As my people tell time, it has only been a few generations. As your people tell time, it has likely been forty generations. This thing of resemblance comes often amongst my people, and is often celebrated when it happens... We say 'the Old Blood often tells in many ways.'"

The warrior turns to The Seeker and says, "Come now, vassal, lead me to the temple of Myrkul in the forest of Gaelross. My god awaits, and Death waits on no man."
